Get to know Steve....
Steven Jacob Russell is a Director of Photography and IATSE Local 600 Steadicam & Camera Operator. Originally from the mountains of Colorado, he studied Film and Television Production at NYU and 35mm Cinematography at FAMU, CZ, He is currently based out of NYC.
Recently Steve was honored at the 2025 ICG Emerging Cinematographer Awards.
In addition to all things camera & lighting, Steve loves to cook, hike, and hang with his cats Mia and Mango.
